Thanks for asking, John. The class is actually over. I do plan on creating a product with some writing tips; but not in the near future. My advice for pursuing your dream? Keep watching the shows. If you’re in or near Los Angeles or New York, call the Writers Guild of America, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and/or the Museum of Television (there seem to be several of those around the world) to see if they’ll be sponsoring seminars where you can hear/meet soap writers. Also, back issues of Soaps in Depth and Soap Opera Digest can be very helpful. All the best to you…

Hello, I was reading in a soap in depth book that you offer an E Class on soap opera style writing using the characters Luke and Noah from As The World Turns. I have always been a huge fan of writing and knew my dream job was writing, just not sure what. Then after I came out, and watched the growing love of Luke and Noah on As The World Turns, I immediatly fell in love with soap operas. My dream job is to write my own, or for a soap opera like ATWT which I am sad to say is not on. But OLTL, GH, Y&R are all other great ones. So was curious where I can find a link for this E-Class

We need to thank those who were willing to fight for us like Martin Luther King and Rosa Parks. Without those people, we probably [would] still have segration today. They were willing to die for us. I think we should praise all those people.

Hi, I don’t know if I started too late or if I got off on the wrong track, but I wondered if this project was still going on and if I’m still part of it. I really wanted to be part of it just to have the chance to learn from an actual emmy-winnning “As the World Turns Writer”, but I sort of get the feeling that my emails and comments aren’t really going anywhere. If there’s any way I can get some writing experience I would welcome it, if not that’s okay too. I guess I just want to know.
